Tweed is a tricky fabric—it can either provide the perfect, structured finishing touch, or verge on looking too much like a dated find, courtesy of grandma’s closet. As much as I love it draped with a modern pair of trousers, I’ve found that it always works with a great pair of jeans. I threw on an updated version I designed, inspired by a classic, vintage Chanel, with embellished slides that keep the look sweetly feminine.
