I’ve been on a shark kick recently. After visiting Michael Muller’s mesmerizing exhibit at the Taschen Gallery during a team bonding day with our new employee Leslie, this gilded shark jaw bottle opener from CB2 caught my eye. I love how it strikes the balance between edgy and chic (thanks to the gold finish), and it fits perfectly in my palm when cracking open a cold one. It also has a really nice weight—it feels substantial in your hands, not light or plasticky despite the super low price tag.
While I initially bought just one for our office, which we used this past Friday to open after-work beers, I returned to grab several others to keep on hand as host gifts for barbecue season.
