The One Thing You Shouldn’t Wear as a Mom (But I Do Anyway)

Any mom knows that wearing white is a dangerous game, since chances are it won’t stay that way for long (if the ketchup doesn’t get you, you’ll end up sitting on melted Play-Doh on the couch). Over the years, I’ve made compromises in that I try to avoid white pants whenever possible. As a surprising aside, I’ve found that white blouses fair better than white pants—more often than not, when a white shirt gets stained, it’s my own fault. But this set from Steele was too cute to pass up. I love the paper bag waist and matching crop top that looked chic enough for the office with a textured trench from our fall collection.
