The clothing store, Martin + Osa, mysteriously appeared at the Century City shopping mall some time ago, yet it was only last week that I truly began to appreciate its feminine, yet structured pieces. After dissecting the September issue of Lucky, I came across a dress that I simply had to have. Though I couldn’t make out the top of it since it was paired with a simple cardigan, I knew it had a classic cut that screamed old Hollywood. Then, like magic, I nearly bumped into a mannequin in Martin + Osa wearing this:
The cut is totally timeless, and with hour-glass shaped rouching in the middle, it’s the perfect canvas for a skinny, patent belt. It’s still too early to wear something made of wool (hello 90? weather), but I’ve gone ahead and dedicated a separate little place in my closet for this dress just so it doesn’t get lonely these next two months.
