Draped in Plaid

Turtlenecks are tricky tops to wear when you’re large-chested, so I’d always overlooked them as “not for me.” I hadn’t considered that a sleeveless turtleneck in a lightweight fabric would change the game. While shopping at Theory a few weeks ago, I reached for this tissue-thin version on a whim, and loved that the result was sleek–with no added bulk to my bust. I paired it with slim black trousers and black boots for an elongated look, and threw on a plaid coat to break up the monochrome. The second-skin jersey fabric of the top also makes it a great basic for tucking into high-waisted pants and skirts, which I plan on doing throughout the fall.
