I’ve been a morning person my entire life, to the point where friends’ moms used to set specific hours (please try to wait until 8am) when I was allowed to call the house when I was a kid. One of my best friends calls me “annoyingly chipper” when I first wake up, so it goes without saying that a cup of coffee isn’t exactly a necessity in the morning. But regardless of whether I need the caffeine kick, it’s one of my favorite rituals to start the day. And while we make pour-over coffee at home most days of the week, I loved that yesterday we budgeted enough time to pick some up before a morning meeting.
