I find myself waiting for this exact weather pretty much all year-long. It reminds me of Northern California, even in the summer, when the mornings are gray and how a shot of splashy, colorful outerwear can be just the quintessential thing to brighten up a dreary day. I plan on pulling this coat out anytime I can, and look forward to belting it for an entirely different look. Last week, when it was hinting at rain all morning, I wore it to a breakfast meeting and slung it over the chair to reveal a neutral, monochromatic outfit underneath.
