This morning, G, Sloan, and I left at the crack of dawn to drive north to my parents’ house for Thanksgiving. Because yesterday was filled with back-to-back meetings and a full to-do list, I didn’t have much time to pack so I relied on some old favorites. This understated outfit is a variation on what I’m planning on wearing to family gatherings all week. The chambray and flared jeans are simple and comfortable, so I can easily move around the kitchen to help my dad cook and run after Sloan, but the flowy cashmere sweater, heels, and beanie add just enough interest to make the overall outfit look elevated and pulled-together. Throughout the week, I may swap out the sweater or the top, while using the same formula to keep things simple: a button-down top + cashmere + denim + booties + accessories.
