I’ve always loved the idea of wearing one of G’s shirts as a dress—and have occasionally successfully worn them as a shirt—but in practice, they never quite work. They’re always too short or too bulky, which is why I was immediately drawn to this menswear-inspired shirtdress from Vince. Cinched at the waist with a belt, it’s a perfect throw-on-and-go staple. What I hadn’t anticipated in running to a quick lunch with G is that it would be Arctic-cold outside (for L.A., at least), with wind gusts that made for a slightly dramatic photoshoot—and hair day.
