At this point, there are very few corners of my home I haven’t shared. After all, we’ll have lived there for seven years come December. In that time, I’ve shared tours of rooms both on the blog and on sites like Apartment Therapy, not to mention on my Stories almost every night. Without fail, any time I share a photo of our family room, I am flooded with DMs all about the same product: Our rattan coffee table.
I purchased the table years ago, before we had Sloan, and am still trying to decide if it’s the best or worst table for kids. On the one hand, I love how light it is—when she crashes in to it, she practically bounces right off, unharmed. On the other, I will never fully fish the playdough from its crevasses. Either way, I love the way it complements our otherwise dark couch and rug, with just a touch of a California, beachy vibe.
