It was impossibly shiny, with zero frizz, great movement, and smelled unreal. RMS Beauty Luminizer (was $38, now $30.40): My collection of highlighting products is extensive, but anytime I find myself coming back to a tried and true product, you know it’s good. This RMS illuminating balm was one of the first I ever tried and a breeze to apply–it blends seamlessly, leaving your skin looking dewy and natural, but not with a comical glow.
Westman Atelier Vital Skincare Complexion Drops (was $68, now $54.40): Consider this a love letter to Westman Atelier, easily one of my favorite makeup brands. This is their newest product, and after I complimented my friend on her skin at dinner recently (assuming she’d just had an expensive facial/treatment), she filled me in on her secret: complexion drops, a serum-based foundation meant to sink into your skin, not sit on top. I added the Atelier IV shade to my cart and am eager to try it out with their Face Trace Contour Stick (in Biscuit) and their Baby Cheeks Blush Stick (in Poppet), which I bought during last year’s sale and makes me feel fresh-faced and pretty each time I wear it.
Tower 28 MakeWaves Mascara (was $20, now $16): I first heard about this from Hillary Kerr’s newsletter, one of my most trusted sources, when she raved about this “excellent” mascara. It lengthens, defines, and even curls your lashes without a curler, stays put for hours, and best of all, washes off without having to use eye makeup remover. Sold.
OSEA Undaria Algae Body Oil (was $48, now $38.40): I can never tell if I should be offended or flattered anytime G touches my skin and raves about how soft it is since he exclusively compliments me when I’m wearing this particular oil. He notices every single time I have it on (I mean, I do too)–it’s incredibly hydrating, leaves the prettiest sheen on your skin, and smells like a luxurious spa. I stock up anytime it goes on sale since it’s easily become one of the most beloved products in my bathroom.
ILIA NightLite Bronzing Powder (was $34, now $27.20): I spent *quite* a lot of time this summer scouring the internet for bronzer recommendations that would work on my fair skin and keep my skin clear. The one bronzer that kept coming up in my research was this one in the color ‘Drawn-In’ which gives me a really nice, healthy glow. If you’re looking for a “back from vacation” vibe this bronzer might not be it, but I actually love how it’s subtle enough to be included in my everyday routine!
Jillian Dempsey Spot Stick Concealer (was $32, now $25.60): I’ve been looking for something new to cover up acne spots when my face decides to have a flare up, and I think this might be it. I love that it’s a matte finish in an easy-to-use stick formula (the product I use right now is effective but very messy and I’m over it!).
Jenny Patinkin Cryo Glow Globes (was $70, now $56): Any time I wake up feeling tired and swollen I beeline to the fridge to pull out my refrigerated gua sha to massage my face. There’s just something about the cooling sensation under my eyes that is so satisfying. The only problem is–I find it difficult to massage under my eyes. These Cryo Glow Globes are the perfect solution for my de-puffing ritual.
Kosas Tinted Face Oil (was $42, now $33.60): Whenever I apply face oil under my makeup, my skin instantly appears brighter, more hydrated, and somehow, tanner. In the winter months, my skin is especially prone to drying out with heavier foundation, so this tinted face oil from Kosas kills two birds with one stone, providing moisture and light coverage.
Ilia Illuminator in ‘Polka Dots and Moonbeams’ (was $34, now $27.20): I used this highlighter on my wedding day, it’s that good! Ilia’s illuminator in the shade ‘Polka Dots and Moonbeams’ gives such a pretty glow, and the consistency is balmy so it feels hydrating on my skin. One swipe looks incredibly natural, like I’m lit from within, but when layered it creates a much more dramatic effect. I tend to use this on the high points of my face, and nearly every time I do, I get compliments from friends and strangers alike.
Herbivore Botanicals Rose Hibiscus Face Mist (was $34, now $27.20): I love Herbivore and their face mists are an everyday essential for me. When I worked in an office I would keep this at my desk and mist throughout the day. Its soft fragrance wakes me up, and the mist brings my makeup back to life! I highly recommend getting the small bottle to throw in your purse to use on-the-go or when traveling.
Kjaer Weiss Refillable Cream Blush in ‘Reverence’ (was $32, now $25.60): I only recently switched from powder blush to cream, and I have to say it has been the biggest game changer. Not only do I find cream blush lasts longer, but it also creates a much more realistic pop of color along my cheeks. Kjaer Weiss’ cream blush formula is highly pigmented, so it lasts a super long time both on your face and in the container. Speaking of containers, Kjaer Weiss has the most beautiful and refillable packaging I have ever seen. It truly feels like a treat when I use their products.
