Not too long ago, I grabbed dinner with one of my friends, whom I hadn’t seen in a while and she looked… refreshed. It didn’t appear as though she’d done anything major to her face—she just looked like she’s gotten a ton of sleep, had remembered to drink a ton of water, and perhaps taken-up yoga. It was impressive. Without being too blunt, I asked her what she was doing because whatever it was, I wanted in.
It turns out, she had started derma-rolling at home. Obviously I’d first heard about it years ago (mainly when done in a dermatologist’s office), but was slow to embrace the technique, which completely freaked me out. The idea of poking tons of teeny, tiny needles in your skin (which encourages a boost in collagen, which helps diminish fine lines and unevenness) was enough for me to steer clear of it entirely. I hadn’t realized that a far less intrusive version could be replicated at home, and for a fraction of the price. I only started about a month ago, but have already seen an enormous difference. Watch below to see how I incorporated derma rolling into my weekly skin care routine and feel free to ask any questions below!
