It still happens about once a day, when I walk into our kitchen, and can’t believe it’s my own. What was once a dark, cramped space was beautifully transformed into everyone’s favorite room, one that’s light-filled, impeccably laid out, and the most inspiring spot to cook. There’s a spot for everything, from a little alcove to hold our paper towels and a drawer dedicated to tea, to an appliance garage for our coffee station and a small bar area that connects the adjoining family room. It’s where all of our friends gather when we entertain and the absolute heart of our home.
